The airport most convenient to UCI is the Orange County Airport (SNA) (also known as John Wayne or Santa Ana). It is only a few miles from UCI. Other airports include Los Angeles International (LAX), Ontario International (ONT), and Long Beach Airport (LGB).
Public Transportation is available to the Irvine area from all airports. There are shuttle vans which go door to door as well as to the major hotels in Irvine. The locations for these van stops are just outside the baggage terminal where you will see signs for Shuttle Van Transportation. A courtesy phone may also be available in the baggage claim area which will connect you directly to your hotel to request that specific shuttle.
